Berwick Arrest Report 2-19-2020
Berwick Police Cheif David Leonard reports the following arrests:
Jai-Cherydan Gutter B/M 22 yoa. of Harrell Ave. Houma was arrested on Monday February 17, 2020 at 8:46 pm for
- STOP SIGN VIOLATION
- DRIVING UNDER SUSPENSION
On Monday February 17, 2020 at approx. 8:31 pm Berwick Officers were in the area of La Hwy 182 near Bowman St. when they observed a vehicle fail to stop at a Stop Sign. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Gutter. Gutter was unable to produce a drivers license and a check revealed that he had a Suspended license. Gutter was placed under arrest and later transported to Berwick Police Dept. where he was booked on the charges. He posted a $252.00 bond and was released.
Moses Malik Charlot B/M 18 yoa. of Versen St. Berwick was arrested on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at 7:33 pm for
- THEFT (Warrant)
On Tuesday February 18, 2020 at appr. 7:33 pm Moses Charlot walked in Berwick P.D. to turn himself in on a warrant for his arrest. The warrant stems from an incident in which a complaint was field on February 12, 2020 concerning a bicycle being stolen from a local school. Charlot was developed as a suspect and a warrant was later prepared for his arrest. Charlot later posted bond of $1,500.00 and was released.
