Berwick Arrest Report 11-2-2020

Berwick Police Chief David Leonard reports the following arrests:
Joshua D. Robertson, B/M 29 years old of Jones St. Berwick, was arrested on Friday, October 30, 2020, at 11:33PM, on the following charges:
- DWI First Offense (Refusal)
- Speeding 57/30
- Driving Under Suspension
On Friday, October 30, 2020, at 11:01PM, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Robertson for speeding 57mph in a posted 30mph speed zone on Hwy 182. While speaking with Robertson, he exhibited signs of impairment on drugs and/or medication. He performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and was subsequently placed under arrest. A computer check also revealed that his driver’s license was suspended. Robertson was transported to the Berwick Police Department where he submitted a sample of .000g%BAC and refused to provide a urine sample. A search warrant was obtained for a sample of his blood to be collected. The blood sample was collected at a local medical facility and Robertson was booked into the Berwick Jail. He later posted a bond of $4,000.00.
Milton L. Perry, W/M 53 years old, of Lagonda Rd. Bayou Vista, was arrested on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 9:05PM, on the following charges:
- DWI First Offense
- Possession of Open Alcohol Container in a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle w/Crash
On Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 8:45PM, officers responded to a single vehicle crash on Fairview Dr. near Brighton Ln. Perry was identified as the driver of the vehicle and it was determined that he lost control of his truck and struck a sign, a telephone pole, then a water line. Perry exhibited signs of impairment and subsequently performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Officers located an open alcohol container as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside of Perry’s truck. Perry was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where he submitted a sample of .270g%BAC. He was booked into the Berwick Jail where he later posted a bond of $6,750.00.
Donald H. Boudreaux, W/M 57years old, of Tournament Blvd. Berwick, was arrested on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at 2:21PM, on the following charges:
- DWI First Offense
- Hit and Run
- Flight From and Officer
- Possession of Open Alcohol Container in a Motor Vehicle
- Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle w/Crash
On Sunday, November 1, 2020, at 1:58PM, officers responded to Fairview Dr. in reference a vehicle that had struck a sign then fled from the scene. Officers located the vehicle on Boudreaux St. and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to stop and it continued on Hwy 182 until it finally came to a stop on Patti Dr. The driver was identified as Boudreaux and he exhibited signs of impairment. He subsequently performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Officers located an open alcohol container inside of his vehicle. Boudreaux was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where he submitted a sample of .096g%BAC. Boudreaux was booked into the Berwick Jail where he later posted a bond of $5,750.00.
