According to Chief of Police David Leonard on Thursday September 3, 2020 at approx. 10:22 am Myrissa Girard Lantier turned herself in on active warrants Berwick Police held for her arrest. She was booked into the Berwick Jail on the warrants and later posted a $500.00 bond. The warrants stem from a traffic that was conducted by Berwick Officers on February 25, 2020 in which Lantier was found to be in possession of pills that she could not produce prescriptions for. The pills were sized at the time of the traffic stop and sent to the Crime Lab for analysis. The results later came back and the pills were identified as Schedule II and Schedule IV narcotics. The warrants were then issued for her arrest.
