FRANKLIN, La.—The City of Franklin’s Bayou Beaux Arts Summer Program dance portion will take place this summer.
Dance classes will be taught by LaDaisha Bowles-Webber. The dance program will be held with reduced student participation as it was last year. Only 35 students will be allowed to participate. Students will be required to follow CDC guidelines in place at that time to practices, picture day, recital rehearsals and the recital. The dance program will take place at The Teche Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Registration for the dance program will take place May 10 through May 14 during normal business hours in the Tax Department of City Hall. Registration will end when the program reaches 35 students or on May 14, whichever comes first. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. The cost is $20 per student, which is nonrefundable. Payment can be made by cashier’s check, money order, debit or credit card or cash. Students must be at least 5 years old to participate.
