Marjorie Elizabeth Solete Jones, 82, a resident of Bayou Vista, LA and native of Donaldsonville, LA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 7:49 am at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ 1105 Railroad Avenue Morgan City, LA, with Brother Stanley Rankins, officiating the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Marjorie leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Phillip Jones, Sr. of Bayou Vista, LA; a daughter, Tensia Jones of Bayou Vista, LA; two sons, Michael (Edwina) Johnson of Berwick, LA. and Phillip (Kim) Jones, III of Bayou Vista, LA; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two godchildren, one brother-in-law, five sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and a dear friend.
